Wow what a weekend. Tahnée and Kaos had a great time racing in Les Arcs and BOTH finished on the top step of the podium!!

Checked out the Pleney and Les Gets yesterday to see how much snow was on the tracks - a fair bit!!! It was okay lower down and really good to be back on the bike again. The Chain Reation Cycles / Intense team are back again tomorrow so it was good to do a quick rekky for the to see whats rideable.

The Rhone Alps Cup starts in a couple of weeks and we thought it would be a good idea to head on over to the venue for the second round at Cormaranche. It was a bit of an epic drive and I had to uplift everyone whne we were there but, it was worth it.

Tahnée has not received all her parts yet for her bike, especially as she has only just signed for Hope for 2008 but, she was desperate to start riding the slightly bigger Intense Socom with Marzocchi Shock and Fork. I had to sacrifice my bike for her build to be complete but, thats what dad's do!!

 Great course about 1.6km long with jumps, drops, roots, rock section - it really does have it all and everyone had great fun.

The summer season must be starting... yesterday, they CRC/Intense Team stopped by on their way to Val di Sole for a World Champs test event. Chris Kovarik flew in on Wednesday and then the race truck with Nige, Matt, Ruaridh and mechanics Dave and Cord turned up in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Former guest takes one for the team...

It was good for Jo to meet everyone show them around thier accommodation for the season and generally get to know the team. They made use of the day to build up the bikes and stip the van down to the bare essentials for racing. Then, off they set for Italy. Having just done a whole days travelling ourselves, I can not imaging how it is for these guys over the next few months - days are surely gonna be lost in transit!

Anyway good luck to the guys in Italy, then Maribor for the first World Cup, then some are back here and some are off elsewhere!!
